18 Nov STEMPILOT attends Springfield Community College’s First Aeronautics EVENT
Springfield Community College recently took to the skies with its 1st Aeronautics Event, and STEMPILOT was thrilled to be part of the action. The event, held on campus, aimed to inspire engineering students and provide hands-on experiences that connect classroom learning to real-world applications in aviation.
STEMPILOT showcased its state-of-the-art Edustation flight simulators, giving students the chance to experience the thrill of piloting an aircraft. Engineering students lined up for their opportunity to “take off,” navigating realistic scenarios that tested both their critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The simulators, designed with education in mind, seamlessly integrate STEM principles, making them ideal for programs looking to bridge the gap between theory and application.
“Our goal is to bring STEM education to life by using aviation as a tool for engagement,” said Jay LeBoff, CEO of STEMPILOT. “We’re proud to partner with Springfield Community College and provide students with a unique learning experience that builds STEM skills and fosters a passion for engineering and flight.”
The success of this event marks an exciting beginning for Springfield Community College’s exploration of aeronautics education. With programs like this, students gain hands-on exposure to fields like aviation engineering, aerodynamics, and coding for aviation systems, all of which are critical for careers in the ever-expanding aerospace industry.
STEMPILOT is committed to empowering schools and institutions with innovative tools to inspire the next generation of STEM professionals. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Springfield Community College and other schools nationwide to bring the power of flight into classrooms and communities everywhere.
Together, we’re taking STEM education to new heights—literally!
