30 Jun STEMPilot Pulls Into Transit High School, New York City
STEMPilot had an incredible day at New York City’s Career and Technical Education conference at the Transit High School in Brooklyn. New York City has one of the world’s largest transit operations and needs well trained staff to support it. At Transit High School (which has two NYC Subway cars in the building!), students learn electrical circuits, pneumatic controls, computer controls and more to understand how these rail trains operate. STEMPilot was invited to show how math and science is applied in a meaningful project based learning curriculum. Wow…what a school!
