26 Apr EAA 96 Compton & STEMPilot “We Can Build Airplane with our Hands”

EAA 96 is located at  KCPM Compton Woodley Field in Compton CA. This very active chapter has sponsored monthly “Young Eagles” events over the spring, summer and fall. The chapter attracts between 40 and 80 kids who want to fly, for Free. The most important part of EAA 96 is the work done in the hanger. Planes are built from kits and repaired too. It’s important for local students to see what can be done inside the hanger with tools. STEMPilot plans to invite the Compton Schools to tour the EAA 96 hanger in the near future as they implement their new Edustations and Pilot Pro simulators in their classrooms.
